Case study – John Laing Integrated Services has gone through the extremes of extensive expansion followed by cut backs due to the current credit crunch. Throughout this they have been developing a coaching culture – at the core of which is a solutions-focused coaching programme, infusing these ideas and principles throughout the organisation , developing managers as coaches and a pool of internal coaches.
This session will share the JLIS case study, hear about the steps taken, how the programme was introduced and evolved , the successes and lessons learned. You’ll also get to meet and experience the OSKAR coaching model – the solutions focused coaching model at the heart of the programme.

Janine Waldman, presenter
Janine Waldman is a business and executive coach with over 12 years coaching experience and an international coaching practice. She also specialises in facilitation and consultancy. She has led organisational development initiatives and held senior management positions in both the public and private sectors in the UK and abroad
A certified business coach she draws on a number of coaching techniques. Her work is heavily influenced by the Solutions Focused approach to coaching action. This is an approach in which she has trained numerous in-house and professional coaches and presents at conferences worldwide.
She is also a Human Resource Development consultant and teaches HRM & Strategy at post- graduate level at Westminster and Birkbeck Universities.
